Help make Hartlepool a place where every child has a chance to be healthy, happy and safe by becoming a volunteer Relationship Champion! Local charity Changing Futures North East will train and support you so you can make a difference. As part of the Healthy Relationships Partnership you will be helping Hartlepool to have the best relationships in the country! Families can find it hard to talk about their relationships, with your help we want to reduce the stigma and get people talking.
A campaign week will be held from 10th-17th February 2018 to showcase the fantastic work happening locally to support children, young people and families. If you’re interested in helping organise events, speaking with media, supporting professionals working with families and helping families then we want to hear from you!
There will be training provided on two mornings in August and four mornings in September with ongoing support and training every month. You will need to be available the week of the campaign to join in with activities and getting people talking about relationships in our community. This key role in supporting family development will see you continuing to support local residents in community setting after the campaign has ended.
